THE ROLE
Main
Purpose/Role Summary:
Reporting
to the HR Director, the Internal Communications Manager is responsible
for executing all internal communications activities across the
company and delivering within plan and budget.
Responsible
for the development of all collateral using a mix of media and bringing
fresh ideas and solutions including use of the web.
Responsibilities:
- Support the
HR Director & Marketing/Management team in the development of
a communications and messaging strategy for the business
- Work with
the HR Director to implement an internal communications program
focused on regular company-wide communications and knowledge sharing
initiatives
- Develop,
implement and manage internal communications programmes that communicate
corporate or departmental initiatives, such as Self-Service, Flexible
Benefits, new company acquisitions etc.
- Build and
maintain the relationships with colleagues company-wide that are
relevant to the internal communications programmes.
- Develop and
manage all corporate print and electronic internal communications
collateral, including: Portal postings, newsletters, brochures
etc.
- Ensure high
quality and compliance with corporate standards and objectives.
- Ensure content
is up-to-date and aligned with overall company communications
strategy.
- Work closely
with internal management team.
- Develop and
implement strategies for measuring the effectiveness of all internal
communications programmes.
- Project manage
special events programmes
THE
PERSON
Qualifications
and Experience
- Ideally educated
to degree level and demonstrable professional development throughout
career
- Experienced
internal communications professional with 2-5 years marketing
communications experience
- Demonstrated
experience in the development and execution of a strategic communication
programmes and related tools.
- Written skills
should be excellent and include the ability to write dynamically
and fluidly.
- Verbal communications
skills should be excellent.
- Strong project
management / planning skills to ensure that the marketing plan
is delivered on time and on budget to high quality standards
- Demonstrable
experience of managing internal and supplier relationships
